Amanda Jacques

Lead Dental Nurse and Sedation Lead

My career in dental nursing started in 1992 just over 30 years ago. I completed my dental nursing at The Bristol Dental Hospital, following in from that I commenced my dental nursing oral health education teaching certificate and dental sedation nursing qualification also at the BDH. After qualifying as a dental nurse my passion was ignited to want to help nervous and phobic patients on their dental journey, try to make it a positive one and one they want to travel again. I wanted to be part of them overcoming fears worries and any anxieties they might have had which in turn inhibits them attending for dental appointments.

I have a busy family always out doing something, I am very lucky to live by a 9,800-acre estate, with woods and lakes of which I enjoy nothing better than exploring with a bike or just walking. I like to keep fit so walking, cycling and yoga is my go to when I want to just chill and relax.

I very much look forward to meeting & welcoming you to our beautiful practice.
